I Am A: Chaotic Good Human Sorcerer (2nd Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-11

Dexterity-13

Constitution-13

Intelligence-10

Wisdom-13

Charisma-13

Alignment:
Chaotic Good A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. Chaotic good is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit. However, chaotic good can be a dangerous alignment because it disrupts the order of society and punishes those who do well for themselves.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.

Find out What Kind of Dungeons and Dragons Character Would You Be?

I hate/love everyone

Gotta love the way recent events get into your dreams.

I totally had this dream last night that had at least two of these (I can only remember two)

The first was something that happened yesterday when I was catching a train home. It was the first time I'd actually gotten on the Upfield train at Spencer Street station and it turns out it had to go to Flinders Street and though the loop, so it would take awhile before it actually started heading home.
The other has to do with my guitar. Two weeks ago my A string broke (it had uncoiled at the end) and it was about a week before I restrung it.

ANYWAY...

In my dream I was catching the Upfield and for some reason there was a display that said it was going to take 41 minutes to get to my station. I started practicing guitar while I waited and suddenly three of my strings broke and I was all, "Goddamnit. I just restrung it recently!". For some reason the strings that broke were the A, high E and B strings.

That's all. Goodbye.

Do you believe in life after love?

Arrgh. This last week has been crazy. Let me go over it now. Possibly the most social week in my entire life (sad, I know).

Friday:
Went to the EC with Thomas, Liam and Paul. Really quiet for a Friday night. Left and went to The Retreat where we met Fat Tom. The others figured it'd be a good idea to go to the city with no plan of what to do once we were there.
We got into the city and they bought some whiskey, vodka and coke. The night went downhill from there. We walked all the way to King St to go to a club but then the boys realised they wouldn't be able to take in the alcohol.
Finished the vodka around 3AM, which is when the clubs were closing. Met some guys who gave us a pill. Split it into four so that if we were gonna die from it we might as well die together. Didn't appear to do shit.
Some fat goth chick outside a goth club told us to "go back to our department stores". I personally took it as a compliment, although the fat bitch's hair probably cost more than everything I was wearing put together.
Went and got food and then Liam got dicked when he took a swig of whiskey right in front of a divvy van. We then got a taxi home.

Saturday:
Went to Aural Window gig in Fawkner with Bech. It's handy that the station happens to be on the same line as my house. Sheena offered her condolences and gave me a hug (nice girl) and we all got free acoustic singles.
Aural Window were awesome as usual, but the venue was sucky because it didn't have anything on tap.
After the gig Bech, Hannah and myself went down to the EC where Thomas joined us. We went back to my place, smoked a joint and watched some League of Gentlemen.

Sunday:
Break. Did fuck all besides play some Bioshock.

Monday:
Went to The Public bar on Victoria St with Thomas, Paul, Jess, Kathryn, Lachlan and his girly, Timon, Bech, Bech's mate whose name I can't remember and Dave. Pretty packed and on Mondays they have $4.50 jugs of beer. Disgusting, watered down beer, but very cheap beer nonetheless. Dave and I drank about three or four jugs each. Dave convinced me to go to Eurotrash the next night and then we discovered that a bunch of the people we were with were already going xD
People began to gradually disappear and I ended up going and getting a tram home at midnight. The funny thing about the beer was that it didn't hit me for like an hour, but then suddenly I was smashed and when I got home I chucked my guts up.

Tuesday:
Woke up pretty hungover. Apparently the same had happened to Dave (the beer not hitting him for ages and then going home and throwing up) but we resolved to still go to Eurotrash. Met Jess and Timon at Melbourne Central and we got cheeseburgers at the Maccas on Lonsdale while we waited for Bech to meet us there. Once Bech was with us, we went off to Eurotrash! The bouncer looked familiar and I realised it was Annie, one of my sister's friends. I told her who I was and she went, "Oh, I really should've looked at your name when I checked the ID" apparently I look different. Then again, last time she saw me would've been like four years ago.
Pretty cool place, but it's hard to stand out. All the guys looked like they spend five hours doing their hair (as opposed to my ten minutes). At least there were lots of former highschool mates there and there was a girl who was postively thrilled to discover she and I shared the same name. It's supposed to be $5 Jäger-bombs on Tuesday nights, but for some reason they weren't doing them this night. Was still hungover, so I didn't feel too much like beer and instead took advantage of the $6 Smirnoff Blacks before 12AM deal. Tastes just like Red Bull.
Got really smashed and even ended up 'dancing'. Everyone got kicked out at 3AM and so Thomas and Liam and I went and got food. I got a double cheeseburger, then another cheeseburger straight afterward. That makes two normal cheeseburgers and one double cheeseburger for the night.
Got home at 6AM this morning to meet mum who was just getting up for work.

Today and the future:
Did fuck all today, which I'm actually relieved about. Going shopping tomorrow and possibly going to Pogo tomorrow night.

Here we go...

About time I made a Manifest entry, eh? Or, well, any entry at all...
I went Friday and Sunday. No, I did not cosplay and I'm sure nobody expected me to.

Before I go off talking about my weekend, I might as well clear up some stuff. You may already know this from evireon's LJ.

Rachael and I are officially no more. We ended our nine month relationship on Sunday night with a talk, hug and a final kiss. We both figured it best and we've decided to remain friends. Yes, I am sad. And, yes, I will be for some time to come.

Friday:
Got to Melbourne and met up with Dave from my course at 15:00 and the lines were still ridiculously long. However, lowercase arrived and escorted us to the front :P
Rack and Kira arrived at 19:00 and we got lost finding our way back to the lines, before discovering that pre-reg had closed and Rack couldn't pick up her badge. Then we went off to watch Hairspray (which apart from the novelty of Christoper Walken and John Travolta's casting was terrible).

I took a tram home from the city and I figured I'd have a single beer at the Edinburgh Castle on the way (the tram stops right out the front). I finished my pint of Coopers and Carter (manager) asked me if I wanted another as usual and I told him I'd just have a pot of Carlton and he said, "Not Coopers?" and I told him I only have $3.20 and he said, "I owe you a pint anyway". It was at that moment that I realised I'd officially become a regular. Once I'd finished off my latest pint, the girl behind the bar asked if I wanted another and I told her I didn't have any money left and she gave me a pot of Coopers anyway. Then one of the regulars started talking to me and we had a drunken conversation about the fundamental laws of physics, at which point he rolled us a joint. Funny how a single pint lead to all that.

Saturday:
Family event in Glen Waverly. Hung out with my cousins for the first time in ages. They're pretty awesome. The rest is family business and none of yours.

Sunday:
Got there about 14:00 and met up with Dave and Sun-heng. We wandered around whoring ourselves to any event we came across. They went a bit later and I met Josh (also from my course) with a mate of his whom I don't know. We also wandered aimlessly. I went home at 20:00 to make myself some dinner and then went back to Melbourne Uni at 21:00 to talk to Rack and then head to the afterparty.
The afterparty venue this year SUCKED. It was at a place called the James Squire on the corner of Russel and Little Collins. The atmosphere wasn't that bad, but the drinks were exhorbitantly priced. $4.30 for a pot of beer? Piss off. So we marched out chanting "Roo Bar! Roo Bar!" and lots of sheeple followed us. Then our large Man Faye crowd wandered the CBD, with people going off to separate bars. I ended up buying a six pack of Coopers and heading to the Roo Bar with Bech, Kyle, kyle, Kim, Taye, Jaryd, Goonboy, Vanessa, Hugo, Dan and some other guys whose names I can't remember. The bar itself closed at 01:00 but the doors are open at all times. Got really drunk and Hugo accused me of being a ricer when I revealed that I use Gentoo GNU/Linux xD
I don't think I need to broadcast certain details of what else I did there, but feel free to ask me on MSN or something. Anyway, we left and went to crash at Nomads to find Bech in a bad way. Then we went up to a room and got kicked out about ten minutes later.
Got home at 07:00, had to go back to the city, got home again at 09:00. Showered. Slept.

tl;dr

My weekend

I guess this'll mostly be about Friday night.

Friday:
Went to the Ding Dong Lounge. Well, first I met up with Liam and Eli at Liam's place. Kind of. I got to Liam's place and was greeted by Liam's sister, Ella, and Liam's dog, Barry. Left on a trail to the KFC near Liam's place and discovered them ordering food and drinking Black Douglas (those things taste like ginger ale). I joined them.
Theeeeeen we waited for a tram. Two went right past us before the third one stopped. Bastards. Got on the tram and went to Ding Dong, where we met Hannah (nekopan). The first band, Sojourn, sounded a lot like the Datsuns and I didn't pay much attention UNTIL they started to play a cover of Not If You Were The Last Dandy On Earth, which was pretty good. Um, drank a bit while there. Thomas eventually got off work and came along and even Ross turned up, so we were all one great big happy family.

Many more beers and a shot of something later and we were catching a maxi cab to The Retreat on Sydney Road (handy for me, because it's near my place). We hung around for a little bit, but weren't having much fun (even though the guy who looks like Noel Fielding was working the barbie again). Ross and Eli disappeared at some point and around that time Liam and I noticed that Hannah and Thomas were making out, so we wanted to start moving again, which we did. Next stop, The Beach (which is rather close to The Retreat). One of the security guards rolled a joint for Thomas and I while Hannah passed out on one of the chairs. Hilarity. Thomas pushed her in a cab while we (Thomas, Liam, myself) went and got kebabs (Thomas bought mine to make up for a drunken argument we had earlier). Sat and ate our kebabs while Thomas and I talked about Linux stuff. Thomas left. Liam and I pondered what to do and then Liam got in a cab and I walked home. Got home about 05:00.

Woke up with a mild hangover and dad talking to me (he really should know better than to ask me stuff while I'm half asleep). Got up about 13:00, had breakfast and coffee and then discovered a Red Bull that Joe had left in the fridge. Seeing as he is in Thailand, I didn't think he'd miss it. I then proceeded to install Ubuntu on dad's laptop, erasing all traces of Windows at his behest. I was amazed that his USB wireless adaptor worked right out of the box. No ndiswrapper bullshit was required. Unfortunately, there's no sound. Apart from that, it's going great! :D

Gonna do band some time today, but I also gotta catch Kangaroos v Geelong. Kangaroos have come out of nowhere this year and I'm glad to see us on top for once xD

Incredibly gay entry alert

The weather over this last week has been awesome. Spring is finally coming and I couldn't be happier.
I absolutely love this weather. Now I can shave and not have to worry about the cold wind tearing my face off for days afterwards. I actually want to get out of bed and go out in the sun, because the warmth fills my body with happiness.

Anyway...

I saw Faker last night. My brother works at the Northcote Social Club, so Liam and I got on the doorlist. The Young Lovers were great and the other supporting band, Sparkadia, were pretty good, too. Faker were brilliant and the new songs were great, which makes a good impression for their sophomore album. Of course, the good old songs such as Quarter To Three, Teenage Werewolf and Hurricane were the real highlights (the songs as well as the lead singer's habit of exploring the stage). I convinced Thomas to headbang, which is quite a sight.

After Faker finished up, we went out the back and had another beer before heading off to Liam's place. When we got there, we discovered his dad was having a party. Free booze! I did randomly see someone I was kind of hoping never to see again, but I just hung out with the guys playing the banjos in Liam's kitchen or around the fire, smoking weed with Liam's dad. Fun for all. Then Fat Tom turned up for one reason: to sleep at Liam's place. Apparently he's been kicked out of his house and so he's practically living at Liam's place for the weekend.

ANYWAY. Went home. Slept. Woke up with pounding head. Got a red bull. Am a bit better now.

EDIT: I finished Hunger the other day, too. Great book.

P.S.A.

Hi, folks. It's been awhile.

There's a lot of stuff on my mind at the moment, but I don't think I'll commit it to this site for everyone to see.
I'm just getting on to say this: if I seem rude or like I'm losing my patience with you.. Well, I am. But, it's not entirely your fault. I've had this weird mood swing over the past day or so, which I first noticed after a fight with my brother yesterday.
It's quite strange, really. I just feel really irritable over nothing in particular, but the tiniest thing can set me off.
Hell, tripping over the carpet doesn't make me go "Hmmm, I really should look out for that crease when I pass here again". No, iT mAkES ME WANT TO FUCKING KILL THAT CUNT FUCKER MOTHER-FUCKING CARPET. So, yeah, been yelling a bit and got a bit physical with Joe yesterday, so please don't take it too personally if I seem rude to you.

That is all.

So the t-shirt I ordered from the FSF finally arrived yesterday. I was relieved because I didn't want to have to get involved with Australia Post.

So, because of this, I thought it was going to be a good day. I called up my mate, Jess, later at night to invite him to jedi_amara's shindig. He was at his girlfriend's house. He sounded like he was panting or something when he picked up so I asked if they'd be sexing.
It turned out he hadn't, but he was there because her dad had died that morning.
He's still coming, though.

Last week I started looking into OpenGL and yesterday I made a multi-coloured cube that rotates. Truly I am capable of great things. I had to draw stuff on paper to get myself thinking in 3D space.

Ooooh, and today I was in my Comm Tech class, which has been merged with F7A because so many people have dropped out. There's a guy in F7A with my surname. Exact same spelling and all. "Tobias Willmott". Freaky.

Oh, shit, where are my manners? Here's a photo Bryce took of John and I today. Check the shirt out ;D

in b4 'ljcut gdi!!1'
